The construction process of residential solar installation mainly includes the following steps:
Construction preparation
Tool and material preparation: Prepare the tools needed for construction, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, electric drills, etc., as well as the materials required for installation, such as solar panels, brackets, bolts, nuts, wires, etc.
Accessory inspection: Open the package and check whether the accessories are complete according to the packing list, such as the number and integrity of vacuum tubes, whether there are dents on the water tank body, and whether the supporting accessories are complete, etc.
On-site investigation: Understand the building type, location, number of floors and other information, determine the lighting conditions and area of the roof, and thereby determine the scale of the solar energy system. Select an appropriate installation location, usually on the roof, facing north to south and 5 to 10 degrees west of south. Make sure there are no obstructions and reduce the number of pipelines entering the house to increase the duration of sunlight.
Main body assembly
Assemble the bracket: Assemble the front piece and the rear piece together according to the instructions. Use a wrench to tighten the screws. If there is no looseness, it is fine. Then, support the front and rear pieces at an Angle to reinforce the structure. Generally, cement piers, expansion bolts or steel wire ropes are used to fix the brackets. The best fixing method is selected according to the roof conditions.
Installation of the water tank: First, place the water tank on the assembled bracket bucket support. Connect the water tank to the bucket support with bolts and tighten the connecting nuts between the bracket and the bucket support to ensure that the distances between both ends of the water tank and the left and right ends of the bracket are equal.
Install the vacuum tube: First, install the vacuum tube seat and place it at the designated position on the bracket. Then check whether the sealing silicone ring on the inner tank of the insulated water tank and the tail corner of the vacuum tube are damaged, the transparency of the mercury-like coating, and whether there are any processing burrs and roundness at the tube opening. Insert the vacuum tubes vertically towards the tube opening, apply even force and gently push them into the water tank. After insertion, retract the tube seat. Install all the vacuum tubes in sequence.
The pipes are connected to the electrical system
Connect the cold and hot water pipes: Wrap the inlet and outlet with tape, then install the pipe fittings and link the solar-specific pipes. The electric heating tape is tightly attached to the outer wall of the pipe and fastened with adhesive cable ties. Install the sensor in the water level gauge hole of the water tank, and insulate the outside of the pipe with thick polyethylene rubber plastic pipe. The water in the solar water tank is connected to the tap water.
Electric heating wiring: The red wire is the live wire, the two-color wire is the ground wire, and the remaining one is the neutral wire. Peel off the skin to expose about 2cm of copper wire, and then cover it with heat shrink tubing for insulation and dust prevention. Then connect the power cord to these three wires in matching colors, make sure they are firmly connected, and wrap them uniformly from the outside with waterproof insulating tape to prevent short circuits.
Wiring of electric heating tape: Cut a bevel at the end of the electric heating tape to keep the distance between its two wires relatively far and avoid short circuits during connection. Wrap it with insulating tape to ensure full insulation, align the end of the electric heating tape with the end of the pipe, and fix it on the pipe with insulating tape to make it closely adhere to the pipe wall. The other end is the terminal of the intelligent control instrument. If there is a booster water pump, the wiring of the water pump is connected in parallel with the electric tracing.
Indoor installation
Install the controller: Drill holes in the indoor side wall, then insert plastic expansion tubes, and install the fixed base of the measurement and control instrument on the wall. The constant-temperature mixing water solenoid valve should be installed horizontally, and the wiring of the solenoid valve should be respectively connected to the terminal blocks on the control box.
Indoor pipeline connection: After the indoor pipelines are fixed, connect the water supply and drainage pipes to the solar water faucet. The length of the water supply and drainage pipes should be moderate and the direction reasonable to avoid excessive force on the faucet. The height of the drain faucet should be higher than that of the drain pipe at the flue. Reverse slope is strictly prohibited.
Commissioning and Acceptance
System debugging: Installation is complete. Connect the power supply of the controller and run it. Check whether the solar panels are generating electricity normally and whether the controller is working properly, etc.
Acceptance: After confirming that the operation is normal, pack up the tools and clean up the site. Calculate and record the indoor installation components and their quantities, and verify with the user. Please have the user sign and confirm on the accessory material list. Carefully explain and demonstrate the usage methods and precautions of solar energy to the user until they master it. Then, ask the user to fill out the installation quality evaluation form. After filling out the warranty card, hand it to the user and inform them of its function.
